My Dashboard - Historical is a customizable trend analysis report. This report allows you to select from a list of key performance indicators (KPIs) to create unique analysis reports to suit your needs. All changes you make to dashboard views only impacts yourself and doesn’t affect other people or other areas of CLEARVIEW.
The following information is displayed in the report for the Area*, Store, Period and Comparison Period selected:

Data widgets display the data for each KPI. Each widget A relatively simple and easy-to-use application that displays information and may be interactive and customizable. includes:

The name of the KPI,

Figure indicating the KPI value, and
-
Trend % (a green triangle indicates the KPI value for the report period is performing better than the comparison period, while a red triangle indicates that the KPI value for the report period is performing worse than the comparison period)
Click on a widget A relatively simple and easy-to-use application that displays information and may be interactive and customizable. to display its details in the Trend graph and Breakdown* graph.

The Trend graph displays rolling performance of the KPI data. It includes historical data for reference, with the report period highlighted in green.
Hover over Place the cursor over. the plot points for more details or click and drag over a section to zoom in on the details.

The Breakdown* graph compares the KPI for the period selected for each Area* or Restaurant (depending on the option selected in the Breakdown by drop-down list), and the Comparison Period (if selected).
The Breakdown graph is only available when more than one restaurant is selected in the Area* or Store filter Drop-down boxes that let you select from the options available..
The Default View for My Dashboard - Historical (if you select Default from the View drop-down list) provides a detailed view of your business KPIs including Sales, Transaction Count, Average Check, Labour Cost and Food/Paper Cost. These are certainly not the only KPIs that matter and might not even be important to you. CLEARVIEW has hence provided you with the capability to create your own custom analysis reports (called Views) with the KPIs that matter most.
TO VIEW A MY DASHBOARD - HISTORICAL REPORT:

Open the My Dashboard - Historical page.

Select the Area* and Store for which you want to view the report from the drop-down list(s).

Select the Period for which you want to view the report from the drop-down list.

Select the specifics of the period* (Date*, Year*, Week Ending*, Month*, From*, To*, Up To*) from the drop-down list(s).

Select the Comparison Period* from the drop-down list.
The Comparison Period drop-down list is not available if the Period selected in step 3 is Daily.
Like Days Last Year* will include the days (starting and ending with the same day of the week as the selected Period) nearest to the selected Period last year.

Click on the Go button.

Select the report you want to view from the View drop-down list.

TO CREATE A NEW MY DASHBOARD - HISTORICAL REPORT:

Open the My Dashboard - Historical page.

Click on the
button. -
In the Add View window:
-
Enter an easily identifiable name in View Name.
-
Place a checkmark next to Default if you want the report you are creating to open by default each time you open the My Dashboard – Historical page.

Click on the desired KPIs from the Available KPI’s column (left pane) to add them to the Selected KPI’s column (right pane).

Once selected, you can organize the KPI’s by clicking and dragging them to the desired order.

Click on the X to remove a KPI from the Selected KPI’s list.

Click on the
button to finalize the view and generate your report.Your created view will appear in the View drop-down list.

TO EDIT A MY DASHBOARD - HISTORICAL REPORT:

Open the My Dashboard - Historical page.

Select the report you want to edit from the View drop-down list.

Click on the
button. -
In the Edit View window:

Make the changes desired (see To Create a New My Dashboard - Historical Report for more details).

Click on the
button to finalize the view and re-generate your report.

TO DELETE A MY DASHBOARD - HISTORICAL REPORT:

Open the My Dashboard - Historical page.

Select the report you want to delete from the View drop-down list.

Click on the
button. -
Click on the Edit View window.
