The Turnover Report provides you with statistical information on employees who have left during the selected period, and provides information on how many terminations were voluntary and how many were involuntary based on the reason chosen when the termination was recorded in CLEARVIEW.

The information in this report is compiled from terminations recorded through the Update Employee Information page (using the Change Status button).

TO GENERATE A TURNOVER REPORT FOR A PERIOD:

  1. Open the Turnover Report page.

  2. Select the Area* for which you want to generate the report from the drop-down list.

  3. Select the type of Period that you'd like to set, from the drop-down list.

  4. Select the details for the period (Year* and Month*, or From* and To*).

  5. Click on the Go button.

The following information is displayed on the page:

  • Store Number: The store number and the name of the store.

  • Turnover:

    • Employee Category*: The name of the category employees are grouped under.

      Category can be changed in the Pay & Benefit Information section of the Basic tab in the electronic employee file.

      • Voluntary: The number of employees that voluntarily resigned in that category.

      • Involuntary: The number of employees that were terminated by the organization, in that category.

        Whether a termination is considered voluntary or involuntary is dependant on the settings of the termination reasons.

        The termination reasons can be managed in Employee Termination Reasons.

    • Total Turnover: The total number of employees that were terminated for the period at the store.

  • Annualized Turnover %: The percentage of employees that leave your organization over the period of a year with respect to the total number of employees.

    Annualized Turnover % = (Employees terminated during the period / Current active employees) x (365 / Number of days in period) x 100

  • Clicking on a link in the Store Number column will open the Turnover Breakdown page for the store.

The Turnover Breakdown page displays the following information:

  • Reporting Period: The period for which the turnover details are displayed on the page.
  • Total Reporting Days: The number of days included in the reporting period.

  • Current Active Employees: Number of employees with Status is Active on the electronic employee file, and reporting to the store.

  • Termination Reason: The reason chosen when the termination was recorded in CLEARVIEW.

  • Number of Employees: The number of employees that were terminated with that termination reason recorded.

  • Percentage of Total: The percentage of terminated employees with that termination reason.

    Percentage of Total = Number of Employees x 100 / Page Total

  • Page Total: The total number of terminated employees included on the page.

Associated Settings

  • Employee Termination Reasons controls the list of potential reasons for terminating an employee.
