A menu product group is the equivalent of a category, under which menu product mix (and hence, menu items as well) can be classified. The Menu Product Groups page lets you view/manage the menu product groups for your organization.
To access Menu Product Groups settings:

Click on on the quick links Located at the top right corner of a page, it contains icons that allow you to quickly access important pages. bar from any page.

In the Settings window:
Settings associated to a page automatically show in the List box. If the setting that you want to access is in the List box, you can skip step a.

Select Menu from the Filter drop-down list.

Click on Menu Product Groups from the List box in the left pane.

The following information is displayed on the settings page for the Status selected at the top of the page:

Product Group: The name of the menu product group.

Status:

Inactive: Indicates that all the menu items mapped to the menu product group Categories into which menu product mix (and hence menu items) can be grouped. are not included in product mix reports from the day that it was deactivated.

Active: Indicates that the menu product group Categories into which menu product mix (and hence menu items) can be grouped. is included in product mix reports.

Only organizations not subscribed to the inventory module have access to create, edit, delete and audit View a detailed list of changes made. Menu Product Groups.
