The Missed Shifts page is used to track shifts that employees were scheduled for but missed.
The Daily Missed Shifts page may be reached through:

The page begins with a filter Drop-down boxes that let you select from the options available. that you can use to select the Area*, Store and Date for which you'd like to view (or update) shifts that were missed by employees.
The following information is displayed on the page:

Employee: The name of the employee that missed the shift.
Clicking on the name of an employee will open the Update Employee Information page.

Job: The job the employee was assigned for the shift.

Start: The date and time Unless specified otherwise, the date and time will always show in the user's local time. that the employee was scheduled to begin the shift.

End: The date and time Unless specified otherwise, the date and time will always show in the user's local time. that the employee was scheduled to end the shift.

Reason: The reason the employee missed the shift.
TO ADD A MISSED SHIFT USING CLEARVIEW RECOMMENDATIONS:
Depending on the time card entry system that you use and your employee schedule, CLEARVIEW can determine shifts that were missed and recommend them for creation.

Open the Daily Missed Shifts page.

Select the Area*, Store and Date, for which you want to add the missed shift, from the drop-down lists.

Click on the Click here to view the Recommended Report link.

In the Missed Shift - Recommended Report window:
-
Place a checkmark in the first column for each of the recommendations that you'd like to record as a missed shift.

For each of the recommendations selected:
-
Select the reason the employee missed the shift from the drop-down list in the Reason column.

Select whether the employee gave notice from the drop-down list in the Notified column.

If the shift was covered by another employee, click on , and then click on the name of the employee in the Missed Shift - Recommended Report - Employee List pop-up.

Select Create Selected Missed Shifts from the Actions drop-down list.

Click on the Perform Action button.

Click on the OK button in the confirmation pop-up box A box with a prompt that opens up when you click certain links or buttons in Clearview..

TO ADD A MISSED SHIFT MANUALLY:

Open the Daily Missed Shifts page.

Select the Area*, Store and Date, for which you want to add the missed shift, from the drop-down lists.

Click on the Create button.

In the Missed Shifts Entry window:

Select the Employee from the drop-down list.
-
Select the job the employee was assigned for the shift from the Job drop-down list.
-
Select the reason the employee missed the shift from the Missed Shift Reason drop-down list.

If the shift was covered by another employee, select the employee from the Covered By drop-down list.
-
Add notes or comments (if any) in the Comment box.

Select the date and time the employee was scheduled to start their shift in Scheduled Time In.

Select the date and time the employee was scheduled to end their shift in Scheduled Time Out.

Select whether the employee gave notice from the Notice Given drop-down list.

If you selected Yes in the Notice Given drop-down list, select the date and time at which the employee notified your organization in Notice*.

Click on the Create button.

TO EDIT A MISSED SHIFT:

Open the Daily Missed Shifts page.

Select the Area*, Store and Date, for which you want to edit the missed shift, from the drop-down lists.

Click on the Update button next to the employee for whom you want to edit the missed shift.

In the Missed Shifts Update window:

Make the changes as required.
-
Click on the Update button.

Open the Daily Missed Shifts page.

Select the Area*, Store and Date, for which you want to delete the missed shift, from the drop-down lists.

Click on the Update button next to the employee for whom you want to delete the missed shift.

In the Missed Shifts Update window:

Click on the Delete button.

Employee Missed Shift Reasons controls the reasons that can be selected when an employee misses a shift.

Check List controls all check lists for the organization.
