TimeShark - Request Rules lets you apply constraints to the number of employees that can apply for leave for specific days selected by you. This ensures that the manager does not have to deal with too many leave requests and having to decide which requests to approve.
To access TimeShark - Request Rules settings:

Click on on the quick links Located at the top right corner of a page, it contains icons that allow you to quickly access important pages. bar from any page.

In the Settings window:
Settings associated to a page automatically show in the List box. If the setting that you want to access is in the List box, you can skip step a.

Select Labour from the Filter drop-down list.

Click on TimeShark - Request Rules from the List box in the left pane.

The following information is displayed on the settings page for the Area* and Store selected using the filters Drop-down boxes that let you select from the options available. at the top of the page:

Date: The date for which the leave request rule applies.

Rule:

Blocked indicates that no leave requests can be placed for the day.

Limit indicates that a limited number of leave requests can be placed for the day.
Leave requests are allowed up to the limit specified in the Limit column after which the day will be blocked for new leave requests.

Limit: The number of leave requests that will be allowed for the day.
TimeShark - Request Rules overwrites the constraints set in Default Max number of “All Day” RDO’s for a date in TimeShark - Configuration for the days request rules are created.
TimeShark - Request Rules are for non-typical days. To set a limit for regular days, use the Default Max number of “All Day” RDO’s for a date in the Store section in TimeShark - Configuration for the days request rules are created.
TimeShark synchronizes with CLEARVIEW every five minutes. It could hence take up to five minutes for TimeShark to reflect the changes made on this page.
