Stock Depletion Date Report
The Stock Depletion Date provides you with two options based on which the calculation will be performed:
-
Default for Each Item: The forecasted case yield Used interchangably with sales yield, case yield is a comparison of the item usage to sales for the period. will be used for the calculation unless the Use Forecasted PLU Build To's is set to Yes on the Inventory Item Information page.
-
Forecast Sales/Case Yield: The forecasted case yield Used interchangably with sales yield, case yield is a comparison of the item usage to sales for the period. will be used for all inventory items regardless of what the Use Forecasted PLU Build To`s is set to on the Inventory Item Information page.
The theoretical usage calculations are used to calculate inventory item usage since the last physical count. For inventory items that are not tracked by the POS (for example, items that are not sold - like cleaning supplies) the usage is calculated based on historical usage trends and adjusted for the forecasted sales.
