The Inventory Items page lets you view the settings of each inventory item and modify it if required.
To access Inventory Items settings:

Click on on the quick links Located at the top right corner of a page, it contains icons that allow you to quickly access important pages. bar from any page.

In the Settings window:
Settings associated to a page automatically show in the List box. If the setting that you want to access is in the List box, you can skip step a.

Select Inventory from the Filter drop-down list.

Click on Inventory Items from the List box in the left pane.

Users cannot create inventory items in Cleaview. Contact your CLEARVIEW Support Team for assistance in creating inventory items.
The following information is displayed on the settings page for the Area* and Store selected using the filters Drop-down boxes that let you select from the options available. at the top of the page:

Item Description: The name of the inventory item.

Sub-Category: The sub-category under which the inventory item is classified.

Yes indicates that the forecasted product mix generated through the Forecasting page is used to calculate the theoretical usage The estimated usage of an inventory item based on menu item sales, recipes mapped to the menu items, sales assumptions and waste recorded. for the item.

Carried*: Yes indicates that the store currently carries the item, while No indicates that the store does not carry the item.

Status: Active indicates that the item is presently included in the Inventory Item by Location settings for stores in your organization, while Inactive indicates that it's not.

Current Product*: The supplier product mapped to the inventory item.
